Information and purpose
We collect your name, email, optional phone, postcode, project choices, notes and the agreement you give. Please do not include sensitive personal information or information about someone else. We also record the referring source category, entry page and campaign label where available, to understand which pages generate useful enquiries.
Why we use it
We rely on your consent to handle the introduction request and any separately agreed contact-detail sharing. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect earlier lawful use. We have a legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse, managing service enquiries and measuring aggregate use. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
Who receives information
Our website, database and email service providers process information to operate the service. The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare; Postmark is used when email notifications are enabled. Processing may occur outside the UK under the providers’ applicable safeguards. A proposed building business receives your contact details only after you agree. We do not automatically distribute your enquiry to multiple businesses.
Retention and security
We review enquiry records and delete or anonymise them within 12 months of the last activity unless a dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention. This includes associated operational email copies. Abuse-prevention identifiers are hashed with a secret and expire; repeat-submission keys are retained for up to two days. Aggregate page and funnel counts contain no name, email or full IP address. We do not use advertising cookies or store your form details in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, withdraw consent, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact hello@yorkshirelawnandgarden.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
